Xperia Pro: is it worth it or not?

The MWC has just begun in Madrid, Spain and Sony was the company which opened up the release show, as they have revealed 3 new phones. We are not going to talk on each of them but only about the most intriguing one, the Experia Pro, as many smartphones lovers were long expecting this gadget to appear.

This little 2.3 Android operated smartphone comes in with a nice 3.7inch and 854 x 480 display, while the processor is the mighty 1GHz Snapdragon. Besides, the 8 MP camera with LED flash and the 2 MP front camera will take care on the multimedia experience.

The color in which the Experia Pro will be sold are silver, red, and black, and no pricing details have been given yet. Despite this, we can inform you that Sony does plan to start selling this smartphone even from Q1 of 2011, which means that they will have to accelerate the marketing campaign.

On the other hand, the Experia Pro will come with a 320 GB storage space, while the battery is designed to stand by for up to 430 hours. Not bad, isn’t it?

My suggestion would be to check out the full description of the specs.

*According to GSM Association Battery Life Measurement Technique. Battery performance may vary depending on network conditions and configurations, and phone usage.

Despite all of these technical details, some critics are pretty reluctant, claiming that Experia Pro is actually nothing but an Experia Neo with a QWERTY keyboard.

What do you think… are they right?
