ASUS EEE Slate EP121: most powerful tablet available, now shipping

Well, the good news is that ASUS started shipping the 32 GB version already, while the 64 GB edition is still unavailable.

This is probably the best Windows-based tablet in the market right now, as no other major manufacturer chose to work with Bill Gates’s OS. The main reason for which EP 121 is seen as an important player in the tablet’s world this year is the Core i5 processor and the battery that can last for up to 4.5 hours or 2.4 hours when playing a full HD video.

The price is pretty high if you ask me (the 32 GB version sells for $ 999, while the extra memory up to 64 GB costs $ 100 more) which might deter people from buying it. On the other hand, if you’re a Windows lover and you have the money… go get it!

Bottom line: if you want to enjoy a 12 inch display with a Windows OS, than EP 121 might be just the right thing for you. Judging by its size, you could almost see it as a laptop, and it might easily become one if you decide to use the bluetooth keyboard that it comes with.
