As you can guess from its name, the Eee Pad MeMO is not a classic gadget, but mostly one that addresses students or those taking lots of notes, as its “piece de la resistance” is the Media Note, an application that allows you to…take notes, while the included stylus will make it easy for everybody to draw whatever they want on this device.
In their latest press release, ASUS announced that this new device will come with a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 display, which should be big enough for any student or business man, and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8260 processor, along with two cameras which are meant to enhance the overall user experience.
The price is expected to start at $500, while the exact release date is not known yet, but ASUS claims that the Eee Pad MeMO should hit the stores in June.

It’s interesting to see what feedback this device will get from its buyers, as ASUS themselves named the device to be “the perfect blend between a tablet and a smartphone”.
I consider that ASUS deserve appreciation for releasing such a device, in a time when most of the manufacturing companies prefer to “play safe” and not try anything that might lead to losing money. ASUS’s Eee Pad MeMO should normally be successful if it will be correctly targeted, so we’re looking forward to test it anytime soon now. Till then, also check out the hands-on clip with it, below.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted on the latest developments on the Asus EEE Pad MeMO, here at tabletbite.com , so stay tuned.
